Who is at the helm?
First up, when does a person own something? Just believing you own something may be enough for most people but if you dont control the thing entirely is it really yours? What if you dont control it at all but you have title to part ownership like a stock in a company? Realy what is happening there is the controlling shareholder of that stock sees no reason to own any more than is needed to control the company without your input. Why would they put more of their own money into it when they usually only want the power to dictate what happens. Use restrictions are controlled by governing bodys for land, vehicles, radios, guns & whatever else. Laws & the selective enforcement of them are a device of control for the administering party whether it be good or bad. Most enforcement of laws is for the rite reason but sometimes not. Now think about global power & the money system.. What is power in this context? The person who controls what happens at certain levels holds the power to decide what to do with for example... how much money to print or who gets Military protection. It would be nice to think that the people who are elected actually hold the full power to entirely control just these 2 things but that's not probable. Yes thats a big red flag statement but when you go back to the idea of ownership & then factor in corruption of power you can't unsee the disturbing reality that only the most vicious & compromising sorts of people can climb all the way through the trenches & sit on top of the throne. (or hide behind it with a gun) How small are you in comparison to just one 10 million dollar donor for some small level election. Yes we all know that dollars win elections ( mega donors wouldn't exist if they didn't hit pay dirt in the past) but think about the implications of capitalism when dreaming about how things should be. Who is giving the money to various candidates' campaigns & how did they get it? At some point the ability for selfish people was made possible to send mind bending amounts of money anywhere that it appeared to be most needed. Bail outs, or maybe even in other countries in the form of aid for natural disasters, war, hunger you name it & POOF the money is gone! But not really. Don't think for a second that somewhere in the wood pile someone benefited & was extremely grateful to the person who signed the check. I'm talking about Trillions of dollars from the US tax payers & printing press that makes those dollars. These recipients can be anyone who then can funnel a piece of their bounty back in many ways so they can hit that button again next time. One way is campaign support. 2 things need to happen for this train to keep rolling for these thugs. 1 That the majority of the public actually believe the magnificent puppet show & just keep working. (not really working great lately) 2 keep people from acting in groups. (working like a charm) This ever improving machine that finds the biggest differences between groups & individuals may be necessary to an extent but not when fear is the primary tool. The GO TO move for dividing people is to find a small conflict of interest & make it grow. A feeling of loss will make people act. This sucks! Is there a supreme global power already? Not until the last individual concedes to it. Maybe there needs to be but how it's all going down doesn't seem like a good direction. No matter what your beliefs are, you have to admit that there are bad actors out there. Whether they are just endlessly greedy, evil. afraid or confused. It's a pipe dream to think that only good people are in control. The dark side of the moon in this picture doesn't show most people hardly any facts. We are left to make all of our different conclusions on our own or just remain confused as to why things always seem to not go in the best possible direction. Imagine all the power & money in the entire world & think who the top 20 people are in that realm. Do they talk? Do they collaborate? Yup. Through the past century & to now do you think that they just pass the baton off to the next guy & go away so the next guy can join the group? Absolutely NO. If somone by chance gained power without the top 20 peoples consent & they wanted them to go away badly, would that one person just stuff it in their face? NO! The group in power would bring the world down on that person. That person wouldn't get within a thousand miles to catch a sniff of a chance to threaten their position. The fact that these people exist has to be acknowledged. Maybe you're now imagining what they may look like or what they usually do or if they are nice. Without an image in people's minds as to who this is, people would search for who is responsible for choices that affect them. This is why it's important for the public to elect the most likable front man to fill the image of that person but that elected person does not ever hold total control. Yea, it sounds a little comic booky, Depressing! We all would like to know who is behind the curtain pulling the strings. That's the simpler way of thinking about it. Try this visualization..We are all swimming in an ocean of power & a few people are in a yacht. The water (power) in this ocean is the collection of what each individual controls. We give away some of our power when we entrust it to others & BAM now it's up for grabs. In the end whoever can direct the most currents in these waters just send the others washing around. Side note; The things that people dont do for themselves is somewhat proportional to the available power. This starts from the smallest things like growing your own food, protecting yourself, raising your children all the way up to building your own house. To sum it up, directing your focus all the way up to the top keeps you from seeing that it all starts with what you do with the things that actually affect you. Yea, the old cliche your vote counts. You vote with your life choices though. How you do what you do & how much you allow others to do it for you when you can do it yourself. That's what feeds the beast & why it's so big now. The beast wants everyone to dream of being on top while no one wants to be on the bottom. Taking liberties sometimes comes at others expense. That mindset is the decay of principals. Whoever is in control is irrelevant. The big issue is that they probably shouldn't be to begin with because they (whoever they are) promote a culture of selfishness & immorality to keep themselves way on top of us. The only way to vote them out of power is to not feed them more power.
