Lense

How we each see the world depends on our perspective from our current situation & what lens we use. Some of us could use glasses to se our own situation at times & its like using binoculars trying to see other peoples situation. It's hard to understand the intricacies of other peoples life when we are blinded with our own problems.

Some guilt may happen when we are awoken to the hardships that we put on others without knowing priorly. Thats forgivable.

Everything we do in this new global system impacts others in ways that we have no idea. Example; if you were to trace the stuff in your remote control to the moment it was pulled from the ground & see its travels to your hand alone, that would be a story. Then consider the money changing hands from each stage of transfer from mining, refining, packaging, shipping, manufacturing, marketing, retail and finally you can now throw it at the TV if you want.

We are truly oblivious to how many of the components in that remote have separate stories. 30? 50? 100? I'm just guessing.

Knowing that, should we all focus on a global justice of sorts that takes these things into account? It would be nice to think that we could have faith in the people who oversee the chain of transactions but these are all people living a section of the system. There isn't any profit in doing gods work so most absolve themselves of the momentary guilt & think.. its not my job. This accumulation of little infractions by each person add up to monstrous inhumane & horrible consequences for some people. The systems don't intend to be evil in design, it happens over time slowly as we all grow our tolerance & slowly become numb.

The influences of capitalism in a community & people who behave in a more communal way are at odds constantly. These 2 forces of action decide what we do & why we do it. Simple decisions some times are given a dollar value. We try to quantify our contribution even within a family. One person may cook more or do laundry. Fixing a car or paying bills may take a talent that others don't have so those tasks have a higher value. These are the fractures where a group starts to become individuals.

If your primary identity as being part of a group holds more value than an individual your pride will follow suit. It all depends on who's team that you feel like others are on or if they deserve to be on your team.

Money within a group distorts an individuals value to the group because the person with the most has the highest potential contribution and the one with the least has possibly the lowest. This culture that we have now gives us options of doing things ourself, or someone doing a thing for you out of obligation to your social connection with them or you could potentially pay someone to do it that you may not even know at all.

We should be able to have faith that people who are fair & rite headed could say no & stop these things. It has prevailed that our individual decisions don't cut the crud either. so now what? The power that you have is mostly spoken for with your personal battles & the real powerful people don't want you or your community pooling the little remaining energy together to help out because they wont be in control of it so they incinerate that power by dividing communities, groups as much as possible all the way down to individuals.

This dissolves any surplus of power that you may pitch in to do something collectively with your community. The power is canceled out by infighting & wont be shared with people who you don't trust. It's really a spiritual thing that you will see immediate benefits from & will grow like a highly contagious virus.

The people in your life, the ones who you interact with are where you need to look closest. Think about the ones that you would rather not deal with & ask why that is. Do they take something that you don't have enough of? Maybe they think your the one who takes too much.

The pivoting point between giving freely & feeling like someone is taking too much is a gauge in everyone's dashboard. Closer friends are given more leeway. Living around larger populations makes people acutely aware of this force. A city will take all you have.

Include online interactions & that takes a bite out of your daily ration of mental energy. This is the other gauge in your dash board, your fuel gauge. Realize that a system that doesn't want you to share power with people that can interfere with their interests exists & that it doesn't want you to be aware of that.

Just think of the pyramid, it gets bigger at the bottom. Feeding your energy up vs down is your choice. Wasting it on escaping a situation prevents you from being a warrior that causes change where you are. Act together with the people seem to be taking from you. They wouldn't be if they weren't part of your life & community.

What or who you give your energy to is your free choice alone. That is the economy of power. The dog that you feed grows strong. Start feeding your community & not some billionaire. Realize that real wealth grows within a community when more people give it within that group instead of passing it up to someone who does things a little cheeper or better.
